The suite of rooms that you hire effectively become yours on the day
(and from midday on the day before your reception, if available). This allows you
plenty of time to stamp your special and personal touch on the
proceedings in the historic environment that the house provides.
The suite of rooms available to you are…
The Great Hall
This large and impressive panelled room is the main entertainment area in house. The walls are hung with pictures of the Twisden family, some of the picture dating back 400 years. The room has large doors, opening onto the park. The room can accommodate around 80 people for a sit-down meal or 150 for a buffet. If you so decide, the tables can be removed after the meal and the hall can be used as a ballroom. We have a grand piano in the Great Hall and you’re welcome to arrange your own band/disco. This room is licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 100 guests.
The Breakfast Room
The Reading Room This smaller room adjoins the Breakfast Room. It is frequently used to keep the children entertained and fed! It also has a door leading directly onto the patio surrounding the house and thence into the park. This is useful in the summer months. The Green Room
This room adjoins the Great Hall. It’s walls are decorated with watercolours produced in the 19th century of the house and park. The artists were all ladies of the Twisden family. The room contains a table for up to 10 people. And can be used, for example, as a useful “sitting out” room for the older members of the party.
NEW TO BRADBOURNE HOUSE! We are excited to introduce our own experienced in-house chef and food expert. We can offer you a range of stunning menus exclusive to Bradbourne House. When you have booked, you will have the chance to meet the chef and front-of-house staff to taste some of the cuisine and discuss making your special day outstanding. This impressive oak panelled room adjoins the
Great Hall. It has a
large central table , complemented by smaller tables on either side of
the fire place. Together they are ideal for providing a buffet for your
guests.
